I haven't had to break out the thesaurus in a while but I need one now because I don't have enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Not just our yurt but the entire property. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of little touches that just take it to the next level are seen and felt everywhere. They perfectly balanced rustic and refined. Instead of wasting time while I profusely effuse (thesaurus words!) how great it is, just go book your visit now and you can thank me later!!!

Loved the yurt life for a couple days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! All the sounds and feels of outdoors with the amenities of a hotel. Property is beautiful and this is just what we needed. We’ll be back again!

my bf and I stayed at the yurt this past weekend and had such a good time! Andy and Peggy were wonderful and everything was thought of for you in the yurt. So much more comfortable and welcoming than a hotel and not so commercial...will definitely visit again!

We loved it so much that we extended our stay an extra night. Hosts were communicative, the space was clean and had everything we needed, and overall the property is gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back!

October 31 - November 2, 2025 Happy Halloween! We are giving our stay 5 gold stars! This getaway was everything we needed. During this stay, we are celebrating life. On this day 8 years ago, I rang the bell to complete my journey battling stage 3 breast cancer. We wanted to do something close to home this trip. We’ve never stayed in a yurt before, our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back for another stay! I’d love to check out Hayloft in the future! If you’re on the fence about staying in a yurt, just do it, you will not regret it! It was lovely finding this gem here in Garrett County. Until next time, Misha & Brandon
