October 31 - November 2, 2025 Happy Halloween! We are giving our stay 5 gold stars! This getaway was everything we needed. During this stay, we are celebrating life. On this day 8 years ago, I rang the bell to complete my journey battling stage 3 breast cancer. We wanted to do something close to home this trip. We’ve never stayed in a yurt before, our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back for another stay! I’d love to check out Hayloft in the future! If you’re on the fence about staying in a yurt, just do it, you will not regret it! It was lovely finding this gem here in Garrett County. Until next time, Misha & Brandon

The Yurt was an excellent place for a couple to stay! Plenty of room for a couple to relax and enjoy the scenic grounds and area.

This place is truly a gem! It’s very easy to find, just close enough to shopping, sightseeing, hiking, dining, etc., if you want that. It’s also just far enough away from all the noise and humanity, if you want to have a quiet, peaceful stay and enjoy nature. I stayed in the yurt, and it was way beyond comfortable - beautifully decorated with high-end finishes and thoughtful touches that made it feel inviting and relaxing. It was hard to leave the big, squishy sofa or the bed that felt like a warm hug to go outside, but I did. I walked the trail around the property on 2 different days, and I noticed different things each time. It’s well-marked and maintained and does have a slight incline to it, but it’s gentle and even my 60-year old knees didn’t mind it. I did see deer both times and hear many different birds through the day and owls at night. The pet cows are very sweet too. When I met Andy and Peggy, they were both professional, attentive and friendly. You can tell they truly love their farm and their guests by the way they maintain everything. Being back in the noisy, busy world makes it seem like my long weekend in this idyll was just a dream, but I will be back!

Absolutely charming and quaint yurt on an amazing piece of land that is cared for to the tens . Can't say enough about the getaway my wife and I had. It was an absolute home run for me as a husband. Extremely responsive and kind owners that are attentive to anything you might possibly need . Would highly highly recommend worth every penny
